The Body of Christ

    • The most important question that can be asked to mankind is who is Jesus to you?
    • The most important question to a Christian is are you going to take the word of God figuratively or literally?
    • Communion is important because it reminds your body and your soul what your born-again spirit already knows; you are one with the Body of Christ.
    • Genesis 2:And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. NKJV
    • 1 Corinthians 15:45 “And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.” NKJV
    • 1 Corinthians 15:47 “The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.”  NKJV
    • Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
    • 1 John 3:8 “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.” NKJV
    • Eucharist – offering/giving of Grace.
    • Transubstantiation – which means the they are transformed into the actual body of Christ.
    • 1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.
    • 1 Corinthians 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said,  “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
    • 1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
    • 1 Corinthians 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty (the guilt is not dealt with) of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
    • 1 Corinthians 11:29 For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body30 For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep.
